Chainlink Whales Add More Than 14 Million LINK In Three Weeks
Large Chainlink wallets added more than 14 million LINK over the past three weeks, Santiment data shared by Ali Martinez showed. The accumulation extended a broader rise in balances held by major LINK holders during subdued price action.
Martinez described the accumulation as a potential sign of growing confidence among major holders. Wallet-balance metrics track changes within defined ownership tiers, although they do not distinguish open-market purchases from custody reorganizations, internal transfers or address reclassification.
Santiment’s dedicated LINK large-holder chart tracks balances held by addresses containing between 100,000 and 10 million LINK alongside transactions valued above $1 million.
Whale Balances Extend Earlier Accumulation
The three-week increase follows a broader expansion in Chainlink’s large-wallet population. Santiment counted a record 805 wallets holding at least 100,000 LINK on May 25, an 8.2% increase over seven weeks.
A separate May reading showed addresses holding between 100,000 and 10 million LINK had accumulated 32.93 million tokens in one month. The cohort increased its collective balance by 7.7% during that period while LINK remained near multi-month lows.
Whale activity has also appeared through individual exchange withdrawals. Earlier this year, several large wallets removed hundreds of thousands of LINK from Binance as the Bitwise Chainlink ETF began trading. One address accumulated 342,557 LINK across two withdrawals, while another removed 207,328 LINK from the exchange.
Chainlink Wallet Growth Reaches New High
The accumulation has coincided with wider growth across Chainlink’s holder base. Santiment recorded 900,000 non-empty LINK wallets on Ethereum by July 13, with more than 20,000 new holders added during the preceding month.
Chainlink also registered its three strongest network-growth days of 2026 between June 25 and June 27, when 8,903 new addresses appeared across the three-day period.
Network adoption has continued through Chainlink’s infrastructure products. Its cross-chain interoperability protocol processed more than $18 billion during the first quarter, with transfer activity rising 78% quarter-over-quarter and 319% year-over-year. The expansion previously left Chainlink network growth running ahead of LINK’s price performance as CCIP usage, token support and fee revenue increased.
Santiment’s latest holder update placed Ethereum-based non-empty LINK wallets at an all-time high of 900,000.
